Rafaella Buzzi is a filmmaker, screenwriter and artist. Her aesthetic transports viewers to a particular universe that gravitates towards the magical realism genre. Often centered around witty dialogues and strong female characters, her commercial work includes spots for ENO, Colgate, NBA, The Hair Routine, Mycon, ENEM, Banco do Brasil, Bottero Calçados, and also music videos. 

Buzzi's directorial fiction debut, “The Almost Adults,” is a coming-of-age comedy with special participation by Gregório Duvivier and Bella Camero. The film received the Grand Prize for Best Children’s Live Action Short at Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival and has screened internationally, including at the New York International Children’s Film Festival, Beijing International Children’s Film Festival, BUFF Malmö and Oulu International Children’s and Youth Film Festival. In Brazil, the film premiered at Curta Cinema and received the Best Film award in the Teen Competition at FICI – International Children’s Film Festival. Her first feature, "Large Land Crisis," written under the tutelage of Mark Rosenthal (Monalisa's Smiles), is currently in its development stage.
